I recently got a Walkman core, and with it came the Sony Sonic Stage 3.0 installation disk, which is needed to transfer mp3s to the player.

Installation reachs either the completion of the stage title "OpenMG module" or the stage title "Sonicstage" and then takes me to a message that simply says "Installation process for sonic stage 3.0 has been terminated"

Because it does not give any options for the termination, I'm not sure how to fix the problem, or even what the problem is.

Suggestions?

try cleaning the disc / your CD drive, something like that happened to me when I tried to install something once, and that fixed it

otherwise, try installing it on other computers just to see if it's your own computer's problem

A lot of driver software that comes with gadgets is corrupt (I know this from personal experience). Look around for another dl, like what fox posted.

It is a product that revived apple, I think their killing it by making a million and 1 diff I-pods, tech stupid people get confused with that many choices.
