EA needs to figure out that most people will pick a mod over some official new EA bullshit that costs money about 99999% of the time.

I dont think I will be getting BF2...

I just finished my son's presents. Its a mini mod/map for Secret Weapons of WWII. I gave the jetpack kit a panzershrek and detpacks instead of the lame smg/nade combo. Its WAAAAAY more fun to lay detpacks ON a tanks turret and fly away twisting the plunger. Very Happy

The map also has some custom skins and is really bot friendly. I run maps with 64 routinely - and with mad AI skillz settings. Actually I'll upload it if anyone plays Secret Weapons.

but im a lil disappointed in SF... i bought it at media plays store closing sale for like 22 bucks, and i think i still overpayed... honestly, they couldnt even call that a mod, it adds a few new guns, 8 maps & a cool grappling hook & zipline... if our guys wanted to, we coulda made all of that in about the same amount of time... that said, its fun to play, so i cant bitch too hard (now that my bf2 seems to be running again)

the part about EA that bothers me is their total lack of respect for the devs... they pushed this game out the door & it was far from finished.... there are bugs galore & they all but refuse to admit it... 90% of the replies to support questions tell people its a problem w/ their comps & thas all the help they get (besides being told to reinstall/re-patch) its just irritating... ive never seen a game so picky about every setting on ur comp (what finally fixed mine was turning the cas latency on my ram from 2.5 - 2 (making it faster & in any normal setting, probably LESS stable, wtf....))

i just hope they manage to fix the shit thats wrong with the game before they feel the need to collect more money from it (the random ctd's, the teammates showing up red, the fucked up aa, etc)

EA won't fix it because EA is a giant. so what if bf2 is a pos w/ glitches n bugs people will still pay for it, and if they don't what other fps will they get.... another EA game? Or just quit PC games and buy madden or ncaa released from EA sports? As far as the "Booster Packs" go I really dun mind as long as it is semi organized, and cheaper than expansion packs. SF exp wasn't awful, I really feel the grapple n zip revolutionized allot of the gameplay. As far as the other new things they were aight.

EA needs someone to crippple them to make them realized how they are fucking up. Right now there to much of a giant.

something that reminds me of this was the day and a half that everyone got all the unlocks. Apparently a comp whiz e-mailed an EA representitive and told them they had a vulnerability in their system, of course EA didn't listen or even check it out, so a while later the guy hacked a few hundred thousand accounts, and everyone got their unlocks. A shame he didn't chaange my knife kills to 2 million :/
