Rock owns. It's the main stream I listen to. That and Alternative.

Just so ya know Slaughter, once you put something like that up you should expect what would happen.

-People bugging you for a different genre.
-People wanting to hear another song
-There would be a mix of the genres and people would ask ya to skip the song.
-There may be disputed debates about what to listen to

It may be recommended that you set down some guidelines for that music server. I'm not sure if you want it kinda like stations, where you have like 98.7 Cut Rock and 103.2 Metallic Throats.

If you can't have stations, you could always take a poll for the most played. And then we could have a calendar and actual People days to where one person could pick a few songs of his/her choosing.

Or just play the music YOU like and never take someone elses music requests.

I believe I can make dif. genres, if not it will prob be a lot of rock, and or mainstream, Hopefully I will be able to dub a few members acess to change songs lower volume and suck remotely.
Also the rule is if it's not on napster, and I don't like the song then you had better send me the song in the format "Artist - Title.mp3" no excepptions. However lots n lots of songs are on Napster, and my music taste is pretty much anything, so the problem wouldn't really occur.

Right now I use napster membership to dl as many songs as I want, then I re-record them into mp3 using muvaudio. This allows me to unprotect song files that I have paid for.

long winded Napster Spheal: Napsters has and always be fucking assholes. They WILL find anyway to exploit any pennny you earn, and turn it into a profit. They only allow you to dl protected wma's that don't work on i-pods, and these are files you cannot just convert. Not to mention if you ever un-subscribe to napster, or downgrade to pay per song you will no longer be able to play any of the songs that you hadpreviously downloaded.

So yea basically you have to play and re-recrd every song you dl at a realtime rate, however w/ muvaudio I can do up to 5 at 1 time. So that expediates the process. For further information on the topic feel free to contact me.
