I have a problem with Google. When I try to go to www.google.com, or .fr, I can't. It says that it can't find the server or it try to find it, and never finds it... I can go on Google with my parents comp, but not with mine... Shocked

If you guys know where it comes from...

Do ye run a firewall such as Norton Internet Security? That one has some productivity controls for business employees to prevent access to catagories of sites, so some random word on Google's front page or something could prevent access if those were on. Also it can block it if it detects an "intrusion attempt" from either end (searching for certain file extensions causes this).

The only firewall I have is Windows'one... And I can still se the other google services...
What is strange is that it works with my parents comp, and not with mine. I'm behind a router, that may be that...
I use Yahoo instead, and it sucks the big one... Google is really better...

search for a "hosts" file on your PC - if you find it open it with notepad - post is here for review

I tried with IE, FF, and Opera, it doesn't work... My parents use FF or IE, and it works...
Hmmm, where am I supposed to find this "hosts" file??? Embarassed

start-search, then click on all files and folders and put hosts in the box

might do a spysweep as well, and a diff virus sweep than your usual.

Well I have an other computers for 2 weeks, because the screen of the other one is broken (it's a notebook...). I tried to go on Google, and it works with this one, so the problem comes from my comp... I can't fix it now bacause I don't have it, I'll see it in 2 weeks.
