Save Axe from hell

Ok as many know my connection seems to be shit, but I was wondering if reinstalling all my battlefield stuff could help. I've done just about everything else I could think of. If yall think it would work, I'd have to go buy bf42 again since I broke disc 1.

Any ideas?
Oh for the unknowing the situation is that my apartment complex shares 2 T1 lines for everyone. It was fine for about a month and now its unbearable, I always get connection errors no matter the time of day or server.

Dude that speed is like 1/5th of mine and mine is not that great. I think the issue is the number of people sharing your bandwidth or they are purposely throttling back. Have you talked to anyone else in the complex? If they are having the same issues then the above two would be my guess; if not it is possible to be wiring. If the wiring is damaged it can do that. Have you tried another PC or your pc on someone elses connection?

Reinstalling the app will not help connection speeds.

Did this happen suddenly or get progressively worse?

You check for viruses and spyware? Spyware slowed the hell out of me one time.

I am sure you have a cable connection in your room. Use that and get a cable modem. Sell other people's stuff if necessary... Hell its to play PIRATES man!!!

Well I'm gonna borrow my roommates ethernet cable to see if mines screwy. But no one but me seems to have a problem, and I've scanned various time with various devices for viurses and spyware.

By the way I played a little CS, and when I actually got in game(it took forever to actually get in) I didnt lag hardly at all, no connection problems either. I sucked but could at least fight back.

Try checking out what is really running on your machine, you can't tell from task manager. Try this from sysinternals:

Look to see if anything is running that shouldn't be.

or this one

so you can see what is going in/out your internet connection

Well even CS got laggy but at least I could play a bit, bfp wont work for shit so tomorrow im gonna call tech and lets em know that this sucks. Maybe that could help, but maybe not. I will think about my own line if it is allowed, though I'm already losing money since im not getting enough hours at work. Very Happy

Anyway, I was gonna call and bitch today but CS started working last night and today. I was getting about 20 ping in a full server(w00t). However when I tried bfp(PoP, but I should still get around 150 ping or so) I had connection problems and was disconnected right off the bat.

I really thinks its my bfp, you would think an older game would run smoother than cs, but who knows, I might go buy 1942 so I can reinstall.
