Ugh.
So annoying when people hate one console or another for absolutely no reason other than its popular to hate that console.
Honestly, besides the controller (that none of you have ever used and therefore have no idea of how good it is) what is so bad about the new nintendo?
We barely even know anything and what we do know is all good.
I can't understand what makes people think the controller is so bad anyway.
The only people to have used it have all written good reviews.
Are they all liars or are you just making assumptions based on absolutely nothing?

Gotta have room for your keyboard, mouse, speakers, joystick/gamepads games and anything else.
I don't know about you but my PC takes up much more space than any of my consoles.

And VIVA those hard working crackers - so I can try a game before paying for a piece of suck ass shit game. Anyone remember the SUCK BALLS game Braveheart? It's the only game I've actually been successful at returning on the basis that it SUCKED SO COMPLETELY that they HAD to give me my money back. lol kinda like how i dont shop at big brother mart aka wal mart i got a few CD's got home cracked them open and lo and behold they where censored nothing on the outside said it was i went back and was told i could not get my money back and it was their policy to sell only censored music i was like GG i can grab a movie from right behind the music section with the same fucking words in it that was 98 i aint spent a penny in that store since

I think this is a sweet idea. I've been a fan of Nintendo for about forever, reason being mainly their software. I just always loved the shit out of their games, (anyone whos ever talked Super Smash Bros with me, knows im an absolute nut for that game) they just really know how to make a game FUN. I've had some of the best moments ever with a console with a few buddys huddled around the latest version of Mario ________ (Tennis, Party, Baseball,) which are usually overlooked and unplayed because of the 'not another mario title Rolling Eyes

' thought, but DAMN theyre fun.

Im sure the revolution will be an absolute blast. Sorta how Blizzard is yet to fuck up a title, I think Nintendo just doesnt know how to not be fun on a grand scale. Im holding out for the Revolution, mostly out of curiousity, but the other half out of respect for the company.

Consoles suck. End of story. I know there are some dipshits out there sitting on their ass and counting down the minutes left until XBOX 360 comes out. In fact, there are a lot of crazy people counting down the days until XBOX 360, PS3, and Revolution come out, and IMO they're all a bunch of poopyhead fanboys. There's a reason that all of the consoles I ever owned are hooked to my brother's TV, NOT mine.

I guess people don't understand that shit is never usually as good as marketing makes it seem. Just look at BF2. Let me list the last three games I've purchased:

Half-Life ($30)
Battlefield 1942 ($30)
Half-Life 2 ($20 on eBay)

Those are, without doubt, three of the best, most verasitle pieces of software I've ever had. I bought none of them as soon as they were released (my penis is big enough guys, i don't need to brag about how soon I purchased a game to make up for that)...

HL2 was a god damn good game, but it didn't look like the screenshots in the magazines.

Some people can't just play on a computer b/c they're just not tech smart. It took us years and years to know everything about a computer and we still don't know it all. Those guys who play consoles just LOVE it b/c all you have to do is press a button and get it done. The computer guys have to actually go into the game's files to install a mod, new opening movies, create maps, etc.

However, you can't do everything with a console which is probably why Wang hates them. You can't make maps on a console, browse the internet easily, it's not up to date like a computer could be. You can't actually go into the files of it and reprogram it as you like unless you get some software that can.

I would choose a computer over a console, BUT if I was one of those guys that have to travel a LOT... I'm all for the console. Some people leave too poor of lives to buy a nice computer with up to date stuff and then buy internet access that is actually worth it. If that was the case, I'd get a console anyday since they're actually allowing everyone to have free internet. Of course, I'm sure you'd still have to have an ISP in your home.

The consoles are meant for the more simple-minded people, not that high tech guys unless you plan to hack it. Needless to say, everyone needs something in their life in order to have fun.

Fun for us is going into files to make something work and then actually playing it.

Fun for Console lovers are just pick up controller, press start, and go from there.

Case solved.

Im a major comp guy too, but when it comes to a quick multiplayer fix with the friends over, I bust out the gamecube. Has anyone here ever turned mario party 6 into a drinking game? I didnt think so Very Happy

I hope the new Mario Kart is actually good. Nintendo's biggest flaw is that they have quit making good games for their own systems suddenly. Even Metroid Prime was contracted out, though it was an okay game. They didn't need to tweak the Mario Kart formula, they sure as hell didn't need to tweak the Zelda formula (I'm such a fan of the series, I have a copy of the limited editon gold cartridge game still in the unopened in my closet). So when I don't buy Windwaker, something is rotten in the state of Denmark. I just hope they figure out soon that they can't tell us what to like, we tell them what to make.

On a side note, if any of you poor bastards played Super Mario Kart against me or Supa, you'd leave the room crying. I taught him every dirty trick I know, so I can never beat him, or him me. We retired from the arena in 1994 after a 6 - 6 tournament. The better man was never decided.
