what moron came up with the idea to make a game controler look like a remote, + have to hold something else to use a joystick. GG to the nintendo nubs making things even more difficult and pointless once again.

And did you read what it can do?
I can imagine playing FPS with it, and seeing how good it playes. I dont know how good it is, but what IGN, and others have said about it, and they have played with it, and it seems they like it.
Think little while...what you can really do with it. I hate playing with consoles, because moving with the pad is so clumsy. Finally you can play FPS GOOD with console.
I was disappointed when i saw this new control this morning, but now...when i have though about the possibilities, i think its amazing. I even took gamecube controller to other hand and remote to other, and i can see how it playes.

Plus this isnt the final version of it, trust me, its not going to look like remote when its released.
The Nintendo DS looked crap when they first revealed it, but before the release, it was one sexy looking device.

And they still havent told everything about revolution, no idea how powerfull it will be. Its same as X-box360, even the Iwata has said this in E3 2005, but who knows...

There is still many things to be revealed, like how the network will work, this one is very important for me, it should be easy and FREE.

So dont bash Revolution untill you have played with it and used the control.

stupidest idea ever....

yes itll oven up new avenues in game design, but everytime some nutjob gets an odd idea for a game, there will be a new controller add on for it.... youll have a fucking closet full of BS controller addons that work for maybe 1 or 2 games...

and these new "tiny consoles" are a complete misinterpretation of what people are saying... i mean seriously, think about it, anyone who has a console, what takes up more room, the console itself, or all the crap u need to play it (games, controllers, etc.) so yes consoles eat space, but not in the "console" part... all that theyre gonna do is get em small & watch em heat up & die like the first bacth of ps2s.....

anyway !end rant

Think of the cons the devs generally don't see.

What about when a guy gets angry? He has two objects to throw.

Hand crampage.

Not enough grip... maybe you can hold it sideways?

FPS would be extremely hard.

This throws out most triple tasking people. My parents could even hold one controller right as it was, then they have you hold two?

Lose one controller, your fucked.

Pros?

Interesting and a new way to try to percieve things.

Future based generations. Kids will be able to become even more multi-tasked than ourselves since they'll learn it at a young age.

TEVO!

More buttons and options for gaming pleasures.

Easier to navigate in web browsers built in.

there weren't any new buttons that I saw, and we already have wireless controlers. I still say it sucks.

the fact that it's a remote is awesome because you can ACTUALLY USE THE REMOTE to play the game, if you'd have read my second link, you'd see that it's actually quite a cool concept
