Alright, I gotz problems as yall know.

I have a Radeon 9200 and I finally have enough money to buy a better card.... But there's a problem.

I need a PCI card and I can only buy it from best buy.

A. Could one of yall help me look for a good card so I can order it? The cheepest one I saw was 400...

and B. Someone who downloaded the patch, check that read me for the newest patch to see if they fixed my problem. If so, then I got some moneh to spend.

I just got a Radeon 9800 Pro with 256MB RAM. It seems to rock for only $170. Haven't tried BF2 yet though....

if u dun have an agp slot, ur prolly hardfucked with the 9200, on a better note though, i heard bf2 will run on some systems with a 9200, the prob is figuring out whether it really will or not (maybe try the demo)

beyond that, maybe try saving some more cash for a new mobo while ur at it (i know its not what u wanna hear, but its by far the best solution) u can get a decent board for around 50 bucks thatll prolly even take your existing cpu... trust me, that agp slot is WELL worth it... jsut find out what cpu ur runnin & ill find something for ya... ima go look at what pci vid cards are availible, but i think that 9200 is about as good as it gets (unless theres a 9600 pci)

edit: sry dude, as far as i can see, ur top of the line on pci vid cards... if u give me an idea on how much cash u can spend, ill try to find a combo for ya

well I have a 100 gift card for best buy, and I was actually thinking about getting a new board. At least I'd be on my way to being able to play it.

If all else fails, I'll say fuck it and I'll grab HL2 and we'll own.

ya, most games don't support pci cards very well, your best bet would probably be a new mobo. the thing you have to be careful of is compatibility, so dbl check that before you buy
