when on national news, one of the headlines is

"OMFG chick from desperate housewives got a concussion!!!111oneoneeleven, let's all go steal food from orphens to give to her omfg"

and

"w00t those two people nobody should give a flying fart about got hitched!!!!

oh yeah and there's some war goin on somewhere"

yes, media = bad.

I find it fascinatinglly(Not a word) disturbing that some people care more about what a celebrity had for breakfast than whats going on with our guys over in Iraq.

I think the media sucks too. Theres alot of shit they dont do, that a 3 year old could think up for running a NEWS corp. I wont get into too much of what I hate about the media as not to offend the blue staters ( Razz

) but I think theres alot thats reported and REALLY shouldnt be, alot thats focused on too highly, and alot that doesnt get enough attention.

hmmm, newspapers over ehre don't focus that much on celebrities. they're happy as long as they can squeeze in the word sex at appropriate (and inappropriate) places.

the fact that an enemy nation does not even have to use spyes to know all they need about what our military is doing does not help either.

though we used this to our advantage in the first gulf war

(i have actualy seen comics in leather neck mag where individuals are separated from there unit and call back state side to ask there parents if they can tell them where to go)

in the last year, i basicly only get my news info from military sorces. or the wether chanle

Here's a shining example of why I hate journalists. The guys on Minnesota Public Radio were talking about a headline in the New York Times the other day that said "Man In Restaurant Shot To Death". The thing these newspaper morons left out is that this "Man In Restaurant" was actually holding the place up at gunpoint. An off-duty cop shot the bastard when he attempted to open fire on the people inside. It's like the MPR guys said, "Why doesn't the headline say 'Cop Saves People's Lives'". I guess it doesn't matter so long as we have Lindsay Lohan to worship. America is doomed.
