hmmm i expected better speks for all the hype about them Confused

my 6600gt is actualy faster than all of them............its just that it is only 128MB and these are 256MB.

so i guess, at least for now, im still better off spending another $160 and getting another for sli

that is, if i ever think i actualy need it Wink

The 7800 is more than 75% faster than the fastest 6600! So i very much doubt your card can do better than an 7800... Ok so that should be 75% faster than the 6800.... sigh.. need more coffee! Rolling Eyes

My 6600GT Core Clock (OOB): 500mhz

MSI NX7800GTX Core Clock: 430mhz

WinFast PX7800GTX Core Clock: 430mhz

eVGA 256-P2-N528-AX Geforce 7800GTX Core Clock: 450mhz

All three have memory clocks 200mhz higher than mine OOB, but the memory clock is easier to OC than the core clock.

The real big difference isn't speed or RAM, it's chip architecture as well as pixel pipelines.
