Just bought this game - DAOC without the total pain of leveling 24/7 and the big bonus - FREE TO PLAY ONLINE!!!! NO MONTHLY FEE!!!

Tell me if you've read anything about Guild Wars, my review to come in a week or so.

You won't see me playing Pirates for awhile (Hooray!!! No Rally!!)...

They look great and you dont need a super computer to see them.

it's why I haven't played Pirates or BF2 as often as I used to Razz

eh i played the beta. took a lot of that was fun in an MMO and removed it imho. felt like diablo with updated graphics.

Yep its a good game but it isnt your typical MMO.
Barely an MMO at all actually.
I got bored of it 'bout a month or so ago, havent even thought about playing it since.
In fact, I just uninstalled it yesterday.
I'm no good at PvP and GW's end-game is all PvP, nothing else.
Hit max level in a week or so then its all fighting.

I played DAOC for a good year before I got sick of lvling all my chars. SO actually for me I wanted more PvP anyway. Hey I'm sure it's good for 3-4 months for me!!!

yeh if all you want is some good mmorpg pvp guild wars would be the game for it. i got sick of pvp in mmos when i reallized fpses handle pvp a lot better.

MMOs are crappy FPSs with beautiful scenery lol

WOW is just too expensive and requires too much commitment. I was gonna go totally MMO I would go back to DAOC and lvl away

bah damnit, come on, there so repadative, fps has so many more possibilities, and i won't be able to shoot you in bf2 then.

i powerleveled like a madman, grinding the quests out all day trying to get to 60 as fast as possible so i could do high level pvp and all that. i got burned out though. last week i reallized that my problem was that i ignored the journey while looking for the destination, and we all know it's the journey that matters.

every game is repetitive if you play it enough. in any event i've decided not to return to wow just yet.
