I'll let you know when I figure it out. I'm a year younger than Brutus and still don't know. Actually, I want to be King of the World, but just too lazy. _________________

lol, your a good guy Jabber.
I wouldn't worry about a job at all. I am 14 and I know generally where I am going. There is a helluva market for technology nowadays and If you aren't involved, you have some issues. Because of this market, people are eager to learn how they can progress personally. There are promising careers in new technological inventions, tech support (especially for Linux OS's since they don't generally offer 24/7 tech support like larger corporations) and consulting. Find out what you are best at right now, and get better at it. If programming is your thing, become a programmer. If you have good people skills, work in technological consulting. If you are simply a born leader, you can be successful opening up a whole new field in technology.
But what you need to focus on right now are your gradesn getting into college and making sure you have good references for when you do go out for a career. Brown nose your teachers, volunteer your services, get a tempeorary job and work hard. If word gets out that you are nothing but a slacker with no future, employers aren't going to want to hire you. Once you have a decent foundation, you can look into working your way to the top.
In conclusion, as you look into becoming an indepentent member of society, make sure you have strong base and good direction. _________________ You do not say that the wheel is fatigued, yet the body is as material as the wheel

In first grade I took an IQ test that showed 130-something, and I could skip two years of school if I wanted, which I didn't. I would correct teachers and use obscure words that no one knew, and just breeze through the first ten years of school without opening a book. But I've gotten stupider over the years
I'm still quite a bit better than average, and I won the school trivia contest. But no one can see me as a brain surgeon when I grow up anymore
It's computers. They rot your brain |
You know, I felt the same way for a long time - depressed that I can't become a quantum physicsist. The truth is that we haven't become less intelligent, it just seems awkward as the people around us become more EDUCATED. We taught ourselves things years ago that some people are just now learning. As my brother once said, "Shit bro, it ain't no thang."
You could have ended up like her:

Well when I was like 5 , I wanted to be a Power Ranger (The green one ) , But I guess thats never gonna come true .But a lot of people have told me I could be a very good lawyer, cause I really can't loos on any situation. I just won't allow , if I know something is true or its done this way, and someone tells me otherwise, I'll prove you fucking wrong.
I won't settle for 2nd place, when I know I should have had 1st place, thats just me. I like that part about being a lawyer, but the part I don't like is having to take all the literature courses, taking the plot out of a certain story, the hidden messages , all that shit. I don't like it.
But since I love the computer so much, for now, I decided that I wanted to study something , that has to do with computer. Programming PC's for big companies, don't know yet. But I have told myself this, I won't study something I don't like. Because I won't like it, and therefore when I have to learn something ,I won't put any interest on it and won't do my best. As the PC goes, I love it, and what perfect thing to study, that something I really like, and would have fun learning.
Im 15 , I turn 16 in November 4. I plan to go that same day to take my learners license, so I can drive but with an adult. And when I get all the practice I need (2-4 months top). I will take the full license exam. And next summer since hopefully I will have a car. I will try and get a job at Comp USA, and have money, to spend partying and girls next summer.
