Idea for a BF2 mod (Didn't know where else to post, lol)

A War of the Worlds mod!. lol. Beleive it or not theres actually a War of the Worlds stratagy game (like command and conquer) that was made in 96 i think. it was based on the Jeff Wayne musical version, apparently it was a great game, but we americans wouldn't know, lol, It was only available in britain. I found it on amazon for 20 pounds, not sure how much that is in dollars, but i couldn't find it for america, ony shipped in england and various parts of Europe... I want a War of the worlds game! so i thought it would be cool for someone to make a WotW mod. The stratagy game gave you the ability to be either humans, (armed refugee's or armed forces like army) or the Martians from mars, Humans had Regular armor and the most important of all in a situation like War of the Worlds, Heat resistant armor, of course if you weren't in an APC or tank you were screwed. unless a martian was also without a vehicle. The martians got they're obvious main vehicle the Tripoded walker with the Heat ray, and i guess the martians could wander around out of their walkers, that would help balance things out. The martians also had another main weapon that was the black poisonous smoke. I'm not sure what else the martians had, like i said it was only made available in england and europe, so i guess we'd have to make some stuff up for the martians to make it somewhat orriginal) sound like an OK idea for a mod?

LOL, surfing the net i found 4 screenshots from the British stratagy game, maybe it'll help anyone willing to help me out.

heres an idea for a mod how about we add support for video cards that exist and do something to fix lag issues and make it possible to have a clan tag and add a patch that works woot now thats a mod
