If you're really going with the MacBook, don't buy extra HD space. I'm pretty sure 60GB will do you fine, and if you need more extra storage you can buy an external drive later for almost nothing compared to what they're offering you.

If I don't get a mac, what are some other laptops that may be nicer on the pricing and have 1 gb ram and 60 gb of hd?

btw laptops are evil and the only thing more evil is a mac, so a mactop is like wow.....
if your looking for somethign that will last a long time that you can game on stick with a desktop, save your laptop fund for when you are a business executive who likes to flaunt about how you have the smallest lightest laptop that can connect to the internet anywhere via cell phone lines........

or when you are a starving college student and have the craving to go stare at breasts and play internet games at the library instead of studying
