PlanetSide is a Massively Multiplayer First Person Shooter.
Basicly its BF, just in the future and with a Masive battles of over 400 players !!!!!

3 Empires fighting over the control of Auraxis (the planet)
this game is all about Teamplay, fun, massive killing and Strategi, Captoring bases and more.
its including Huge Robots, vehicles, lots of wepaons and armors.

its have 10 huge lands, 4 mini lands and cavernas for infantry fights.

this is one hell out of game, its very recomended, and defently worth a try.

now, this is one week Trial, and 1.6gb Download, but its fast, took me less than 3 hours.

Hey BTK.

I have a few weeks left on my subscription which I bought because Jabber plays, but all he does is quit right when the good stuff is about to happen. Nugget and Logo pwn it up too.

there is always good stuff on the erupeon server, even at 6 am at the morning we have nice wars.
what is there ingame names ?

Planetside pissed me off sooooooo friggin' much! Evil or Very Mad

You need certification points to be able to fly anything or equip more heavier armor.... everyone already has the heavier armor and you can't kill them since your just a puny guy with a machine gun.... so you get owned constantly... then I tried taking the towers... even though I took a few, I dont think I got anything...

any advice? I'm completely stumped as to what to do...

we play vanu sovereignty on emerald- i'm kaivar, wang is carmensandiego, nugget is dudemannn (but he's too cheap to buy it, he just keeps making trial accounts).

Stealth, you need to group with people. this game sucks horribly unless you're in an organized squad that works together. this game is more about empire coordination and group tactics, and less about kills. if you come play on our server, you can join our outfit (like a clan) and then you'll always be able to find a group.

if you do all the training you can get to battle rank 3 or 4 within an hour, then you have at least 5 certification points to buy certifications right away. you get a LOT more experience is groups as well, they are really trying to encourage grouping.

the cool thing about this game is that nobody can get everything, even at battle rank 23 you don't have even close to the amount of points needed to buy everything, so there's no ultimate character. it does get easier once you get more cert points though.

every group i've been in... it just sucks horribly. For some reason, the training level 2, won't work, so I can't advance anymore than that. None of the squad member or guy will help me out b/c they're all too busy fighting to care.

I'm Llordaerb on the Emerald. And w00t! yall picked the same things as I did. Cool

I'm the vanu (purple right?) and I know i've chosen that world.

DON'T do the actual training mission things, they're bugged as crap from the first version of PS. in the sanctuary find the virtual reality training and try out every weapon and vehicle and armor type and gun position in vehicle, you get mad exp.

i might quit to go back to WoW.

2 of my friends have told me that they don't have enough space for Planetside...

One of them told me they have 20 gigs of space left...

The other was Bunny and I don't know how many MBs she had left... :/

Anyone know how to fix this problem?

BF got old quickly especially with all the spawn camping and cannon/falc whoring.

planetside was fun but wears out quickly and gets monotonous.

swg is really fun if you love grinding.
