Ya almost always the neck breaks when hung from a height and dropped like that. You only get the squirming of a long death if the height is not enough to break the neck.

What they did (the hangers) was horrible though...

In Islam, prior to an execution, you need to recite a certain phrase twice.

The hangers told him to do so, he recited it the first time... But what was really gay on their part was that they hung him before he got to finishing the phrase for the second time.
