My PunkBuster won't automatically update itself anymore, and everytime I get in a server, I get kicked and get a PunkBuster Error pop up. Brutus helped me manually update it, but the problem kept re-occuring. I don't know if I did something wrong in the updating process, or if the PunkBuster is becoming a POS. I hadn't had a problem with it before I left for my trip, it used to automatically update itself with no problems. But after I got back from my trip it's started to be a pain. So I really don't know what's wrong with it.... So if there is any suggestions to be offered, it would be gratefully appreciated.

And if I could get any suggestions to get it to automatically update itself again, that would be even more appreciated.

But until I figure this problem out, I won't be playing BFP any time soon Crying or Very sad....

I'm guessing Brutus told you about pbweb? It should still be in your pb folder, just run it again....you did put it in your pb folder right? If not it won't work.

Try the update again.

If that dosent work and it really bothers you that much, you can always re-install bf...

Yeah he got pbweb.exe into his pb folder and ran it. He was till getting kicked in game though?

Joe I think you should reinstall Pirates and do the pbweb.exe thing again. I know people hate reinstalling shit but for the extra 1/2 hour of overkill it will OFTEN save you hours of fudging around with 5 minute half-assed patch-up attempts.

right - same thing happened to me a while back... first, try re-downloading pbweb, maybe they have a new version of IT too... who knows? but if pbweb does NOT work, the only other thing to do is reinstall BF

as far as I know, there is no way to make it auto-update itself again, heck, mine NEVER auto-updated
