Macbook Air?

Can't believe it, but I'm close to getting a macbook air. 11 inch with the i7 and at least 128gb SSD in space. Going to be an expensive investment. What do you think?

I would always be afraid that I would break one of those things for how thin they are :S

Also this is a rather moot point, but both of its USB ports are only 2.0 and not 3.0 ... for something that expensive I would expect everything to be up to the highest standards, but meh...

Aye, would def. invest in some kind of nice hard-shell zippy pouch to keep it safe.

I think I'm going to wait until April-May to make a decision. There should be a new version out then, possibly with the retinal screen. I will probably buy a souped-out 11inch one of those then Smile

TRIPLE POST!

I got it and one of the first things I did was install TF2, which runs pretty damn well. It recommended the highest settings, I took it down a peg here and there and I think the FPS is okay. It probably could be better, but I just don't care enough. I'll probably play with it over time. Definitely breaks a sweat when playing TF2 though...

Love the interface, the touchpad swipey features are amazing. use a mouse for gaming of course. Thing is absurdly light and compact, yet absurdly powerful. Goes from OFF to ON in <10sec. No moving parts except for the fan is boneriffic.

Why look at porn when you can just have a Mac?
