I was a huge shotgun user until I saw the BloodSire vid. Then I equipped the flare gun, and the rest is history.

I like Insomniac's vid too, there are too few good pyro fragvids. It's interesting to see the detonator be useful.

I can't live without the flare gun. I was pissed when the pyro didn't get the incendiary rocket launcher like in Team Fortress Classic, but that's the niche that the flare gun was added to fill. I now run the same setup I did back in 1999 modernized for TF2.

The flare is nice, god knows I use it a lot, but I tried the shotty last night and she's pretty deadly too.
