If you have access to server admin, put cheats on using the command sv_cheats 1 or 0 I forget. then type in

I was on a server where the admins made a habit of spawn loads of them at the end of every round. It made things interesting, that's for sure.

I doubt that any of the admins would do something like this outside of events and the possibility of the server asking for it. As 2shoes led me too believe one of the principles that CT was based off was not to exploit which is pretty much cheating. (Correct me if I am wrong about that last part, he was telling me about a fly glitch in Battlefield 1942 pirates.)

That is how the clan was started, tis true. I just don't want people turning cheats on because... then... people cheat. Turns out thats bad for kids who actually like playing the game

I'd make a distinction between cheating to improve your own personal performance in-game and cheating just to fuck around.

Summoning the HHH in the middle of an Egypt game would qualify as the latter, and while it is disruptive, it is no worse IMO than what our admins have been known to do occasionally.

I think the difference between the shit we usually pull is that it either affects only one person and they deserved it, or if it is something like drug all, then it is turned off when the game actually starts. For me personally setup is a time to fuck around for both players and admins alike. Saying that, spawning the horseman would not count as messing around unless the entire server agreed on it at the time.

Yeah - kind of like the low gravity --- use with care and only handle rarely, very rarely.

I was specifically thinking of times where is wasn't. That was probably out of line as well.

I'd avoid doing anything that requires sv_cheats set to 1. Sure, the HHH might be hilarious if not abused but with cheats on someone can just go type noclip into the console or fuck with basically anything themselves.

To me that is out of line, assuming that the server didn't ask for it. I generally will stop any antics the moment people complain about it.
