1. Right click, Team Fortress 2.
2. Go to preferences
3. Advanced Settings
4. Copy Pasta this code:

-textmode -nosound -nopix -novid -nopreload -nojoy -sw -w 1900 -h 1080 +map_background ctf_2fort

5. Launch TF2

if you want to get rid of the code repeat the process and delete the code simply.

This code allows you to run TF2 at bare minimum resources, so you can do other stuff.

Yes, you do get items
No, you won't get banned.

You get all the items you normally would unless they patched it. This just guarantees you get all the items for the week.
