So who watched the first season of this? It finished a few weeks ago and, hot damn, it was good. Sean Bean was great and having him on board pulled me in at first but all the characters are so well done that by the end he's just one of a myriad of great actors. The medieval fantasy universe is really well realised in its locations and those who populate it and the story itself doesn't pull any punches so you never quite know where it's headed. That also means plenty of violence and boobs which is always fun. Can't wait for a second season and it's reassuring to know that the series is heavily based on a popular series of books (A Song of Ice and Fire) so there's a lot of strong content to draw from for future seasons.

Also, Jauffre is a dick.

I watched it. It was alright. I mean, it kept me hooked on the show. I loved all the different conflicts within the show and Tyrion was awesome. The ending scene was awesome too (and no, not just for the naked chick...) Out of all of the shows I've been watching, this one probably isnt my favorite but it fills the niche of Fantasy TV show. Between this and Spartacus, I will have my boob and blood meter filled for the rest of the year.

And yes, Jauffre is a huge ass.

We watched the whole season at my house, it was pretty outstanding. Though in true HBO fashion, what a cliffhanger they ended us off on! I can't wait to watch the kaleesi girl rage some castles with some dragons.

Yea Sean Bean was my hook. I have some issues with the story and the screenplay, but who doesn't?

I think the story is brilliant, and its even better in the books. Second best fantasy series I've read next to Wheel of Time. Interested to hear some of your issues, Massive, I thought it was pretty well written as far as explaining everything and covering its own tracks, no glaring holes that I saw. Also, it was pretty unpredictable, which is nice since that seems to be a thing of the past with many tv shows nowadays

I found it entertaining, but the story annoyed me. A lot of the episodes seemed to be designed to hook you until the next one, but never really develop.

Also I wish they would stay consistently scifi, how can only a few characters posses crazy powers?
