If you're bored, help scientists classify galaxys at http://www.galaxyzoo.org

There are so many galaxys imaged by telescopes running automated sky surveys and collecting images that astronomers cannot possibly keep up. So users are asked to classify galaxies by attributes and help out. They show the same image to several/many users and aggregate the answers to be sure it is classified correctly.

Here are some of my favorite galaxys that I've classified.

Now there is a new task, help find supernovas - really cool too.

Didn't there used to be something sorta like this out before that when your computer was just sitting there it would scan radio signals from space or something like that? Looking for ET.
