I went and saw it last night. It wasn't anything incredible, but it was very good and I enjoyed it. That's not simply because I'm biased to think anything from 30s and 40s pop culture is cool. It's basically like watching the greatest, most expensive History Channel mobster special ever. It was pretty accurate and interesting and Johnny Depp was really good as expected. He shows up Christian Bale pretty easily in this as the better actor. That isn't to say that Bale will still be growling out his lines in his Batman voice like he did in Terminator. He's good in this and that's nice to see. If you guys like historical pieces, this will probably be up your alley. I'd say most of you would probably do best seeing it as a matinee though.

I give it three Skull 'N Crossbones, Yarr! Skull and Crossbones Skull and Crossbones Skull and Crossbones

nice review. I really want to see this at first chance I get. Dillinger really was a victim of circumstance, and if situations were different he would have been a really good person/citizen.

Depp is such a good actor, can pretty much play anything.

Since a small portion was filmed in milwaukee, they offered some tickets to an advanced showing at a ridiculous $130.

The film looks good, I've always appreciated Michael mann's filming techniques for some of his films and use of handheld cameras.

I'm looking forward to his performance in Alice in Wonderland.

I am interested in seeing it. I am from Neenah Wisconsin which is right outside of Oshkosh, where a large portion of it was filmed. Just cool to have such a big production so close to what used to be my home. I'll probably see it when I get more money...

Watched it today, it was great. It wasn't perfect but I think Michael Mann captured the atmosphere of the 30s really well. Johnny Depp also did some believable acting and the bank robberies were always awesome.

That'd be nice but I'd be afraid you'd use it on another transformers 2 type piece of shit. God, what a waste of money and time that crap was. As long as you send me GOOD movie tickets, I'm all for it. =P
