Post a pic of your dogs!

Heres two of my family's four, the smaller one is Zelda and the bigger one is Nannuk. They live out at my parents house with our other Great Dane and a little Border Collie, about an hour and a half from my house in Bozeman. I'll get some great dane pics up soon - average animal weight in the house is about 140 Razz

Karla is a 3.5 month old Rottweiler puppy. ~40 pounds. She will be a big dog.

I hear you on dog loss - can be a very rough time.

I actually had two St. Bernards a year ago who lived to be six months old, their names were Brutus and Molly. (I named brutus!!) They both fell through the ice where the Yellowstone river runs across our property last winter.

This one is from a couple christmases ago. I also have one with her on my shoulder somewhere, but I can't seem to find it atm.

Did you guys fence that off afterward?

My dogs lived until they were 13-14, all cocker spaniels and each with some awesome personalities. Ivan was a dickhead but loyal as hell to his master. Victoria was a sweetheart and nurturing mother, and Sneakers was about as dumb as trying using a screwdriver with a box of nails.

Yeah, losing dogs sucks. I've lost two. One was a rottweiler that managed to live to an old age with hip dysplasia, and the other was a very energetic mutt that started getting seizures around age 14.

But hey, if they lived to 13-14, you can at least say they've had a full life. Six months really sucks though Sad

Yea, losing a dog is hard. About three years ago, our dog passed away unexpectedly. I had been sleeping on the couch that night and I woke up to her passed away on the floor right next to me. For people who really love their pets, they're part of the family, so its a tough experience. For me, I only got over that a while ago.

However, my current best friend is a chubby little girl named Issabella. She's an American Bulldog. For us, she's the sweetest thing in the world, and I'm serious when I call her my best friend. Haha, but American Bulldogs have a protective personality, so shes aggressive to strangers that come into our yard or house. If we ever get robbed, I feel bad for that thief.

I also have 2 cats and a parakeet. I'm having a hard time getting the parakeet to come out of its shell though, if you know anything about parakeets, Erwin, i'll hit you up sometime for advice.

Don't have a decent picture of our current Finigen, but he's a Yorky(sp)/Terrier, small and energetic and cute at times. Before him we had Blackie, a female black Lab/husky that passed away a few years ago, took me months to get over her loss. She was generally great around strangers, since she was raised in a day care home and all around just the best family pet ever. Was also great around cats, while Finigen just chases and barks at our cat that we received when we still had Blackie.

But I did have a lizard for like a year named Nolan. It was pretty interesting feeding the guy crickets. This was around 6th or 7th grade. It was always worth a laugh when you would look in the case and not see him and then be like oh shit where is he...oh wait hes on that branch blended in.
