Vent won't work ingame

Ok so my ventrilo will not work properly while ingame. It works fine enough when I am not ingame but as soon as I start up bfp it stops allowing me to talk. I cannot hear the push to talk button when I hear it. I can however still hear all the other voices.

I run vent in admin mode on Vista and tried it while running 1942 in admin mode as per Taw's instructions. Still didn't work.

This is odd since it worked fine while I was in the match with BR.

Any ideas?

Make sure you have your push to talk set to what you think it is? A dumb suggestion, I know, but I know someone who had that problem.

Can you post a screenshot of the settings window? That way I don't have to ask you what's checked, we can just see.

Choc, that probably isn't the case because it works out-of-game. So the only way that would be relevant is if DirectInput stops working when his game is open for that particular key / button.

What button do you guys use? I use middle mouse.

I use alt. And it worked in the scrim with BR, so bah. I'll get a screenie up after I get off work.
