And here is another still from the movie......

The poster is nicely done, and the movie is a sequel to the events seen in the first trilogy of movies, and not a prequel as many first thought.

Here is the main cast for the movie...

Tobin Bell --- Jigsaw
Scott Patterson --- Agent Straum
Betsy Russell --- Jill (Jigsaw's wife!!)
Costas Mandylor --- Hoffman
Lyriq Bent --- Rigg
Athena Karkanis --- Agent Perez
Justin Louis --- Art
Simon Reynolds --- Lamanna
Mike Realba --- Fisk
Marty Adams --- Ivan

There is also been some confirmation (http://www.bloody-disgusting.com/news/9373) of a fifth and sixth movie in the series. There is no word on any plot details or cast at this time.

Here is a quote from the director of the movie, Darren Bousman...

Quote:
"Everyone's thinking, 'Oh, they're doing a prequel,' but we're not. Is Tobin back? One hundred percent he is. Is he badass in this? One hundred percent he is. Is Tobin only in flashbacks? No, he's not. Is Tobin dead? Yes he is. Is Tobin a ghost? No, he's not."

...which adds to the mystery of the movie.

I don't like horror movies that much but I LOVED the SAW trilogy and I can't wait till it comes out. I find the creative ways of mutilation amusing because of the originality and imagination of the writers but what I like most about the SAW movies is the psychology involved in them. Everything isn't what it seems and you have to pay attention to every little detail that happens in the movie or else you will be lost.

Also, I have been talking to my GF and we came to a pre-conclusion that we think taht Jigsaw isn't Tobin but his wife. It has to be.

I haven't seen any of the movies, but I've read the plot lines on Wiki. They seem really interesting, and wanting to see them but I hear the gore is really bad but thats just from a few of my friends so I dunno if it's true or not.

I heard that those gore scenes are more of psychology things than actualy seeing the gore(blood and all awesome things inside of human body). And that budget for these movies is pretty low, so they use mental scariness more than these popular hollywood 'I know what you did last summer' fucked up billion dollar movies.

The puzzles are amazingly done, but the movie(s) just isn't for me.

These are my favorite horror movies to date. I'm not much one for the horror genre at all, but the Saw movies have just enough intellect married with all that killing that its fucking enjoyable.

Heres hoping that Manhunt 2 turns out to be much more Saw-ish then anything else. You could say Saw could make a great video game, but Manhunt 2 could easily take everything a Saw game could do and expand on it.
