A buddy turned me on to this. Lame name (ooo the Rainbows are coming Razz

) but single player is really sweet and multi-player rocks too. The maps are non-linear and easy on the eye with lots of tension. The AI flexibility and team control is awesome. A must play experience.

I'm not a big fan of the Rainbow 6 games. I played the first few at a gaming cafe' on multi and single. Meh, it's okay.

Maybe with CTs, it could prove to be better.

I have the game for the pc to, I also know k9 is a fan of the series. I like the co-op missions and the ability to customise your weapons.

I do like 3rd person for games with close combat, e.g., Rune and Mount&Blade.

The weapons and weapon modifications system in Raven Shield are extremely sophisticated. The best I have seen.

I have seen and read about other versions but they are poorer in depth and rich in gheyness. Raven Shied is the proper balance.

I am still waiting for Crysis. I saw a new trailer that pwns. Will need a new system for that eye candy though I am sure... But it had wheels shot off vehicles and exploding fuel tanks, etc. The physics was sweet! The only thing I didn't like was the uber suit. :/ Chucking people like HL2 Grav Gun or choke/push in Jedi Outcast. That is tired now but EVERYTHING else looked awesome.

Gears of War looks sweet but wtf with the same old aliens crap... Is there NO originality left tocompliment the engine improvements!

Supposedly Gears of War isn't about originality, but improving on that entire genre of third person game.

Like how Halo is really just linear shooting fun.
