I really want to get back into playing Battlefield and that shit but I have like nothing. I think I lost my old battlefield cds and like, if I do re-get it, I want to delete all the old battlefield junk and start new and this is were you come in. Which mods, bf cds and shit will I need. It's like buying a new car and asking what parts you need to street race. I have no idea what I'm doing and shit so yeah and can you give me a cost range...

BF42 is like 5-10 bucks. You can get the entire BF42 series for $20.

After that, it's all patches.

if your referring to parts for your comp so that you can run bf2 then yyou can talk 2 wang, if just regular bf1942 then you will need the original cd like stealth said, and the 1.62b patch, and the bfp 1.0 final version of pirates.

as ffar as other mods we play you gotta talk to some1 else, I think the last thing we tried was dcfinal

We will also hopefully be moving to a new half life 2 mod, so you may want to pick that up too.

The minimum system requirements for Battlefield 2 are
* Windows XP (32-bit) with Admin rights
* 1.7 GHz Pentium 4 / Athlon XP or greater
* 512 MB or more
* 460MB of HD Space
* DirectX 9.0c compatible (*video)
* DirectX 9.0c compatible (sound)

*Video
Video card must have 128 MB or more memory and one of the following chipsets:

* NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700 or greater
* ATI Radeon 8500 or greater

Most of the information about your comp can be found by doing start, run, and typing in dxdiag.

I wouldn't even bother trying to play BF2 without at least a G of RAM, and preferably 2G's and the meanest vid card you can afford Wink
