Ya I went and saw it in San Antonio, twas Slayer, Mastadon, Lamb of God, Children of Bodom, and some shitty band. Not my usual fare but excellent nonetheless. Slayer especially was good, so many crazy fans were there and Kerry King the lead guitarist went apeshit and banged his bald head the whole show. My neck hurt for awhile.

The trip getting there was just as good, it involved me riding with a friend and his girl. The girl was almost passed out by the time we got to the show, some pills and alcohol it was. They weren't going to let her in, going to get security because of the alcohol on her breath and her barely being able to walk, but we rushed in and got lost in the crowd. She passed out for most of the show too, but woke before we were going to have to carry her out.

On the ride we had several joints and my friend managed to rearend a truck in Austin traffic. Luckily they let us go as they had no damage, but he has to replace a hood on his girlfriend's car now(I was like shit when he hit, and almost scarfed down alot of mary jane, and boy it was alot). It was intense, no way we should have been driving.

Next time I shall drive and not partake until after the driving has been done I think.

It was fun though.

Yall get to see In Flames?

That isn't fair, we didn't get them, we got Mastodon instead. Mastodon is good, but not as good as In Flames. Must be becuase they wanted to get a more local band to play.

Yeah we get In Flames with them.

I think many bands wants to do gig with Slayer as it is very poplular band. Even big names like In Flames and Children Of Bodom doesn't have such a big popularity(even tho. I have heard that C.O.B is very "wanted" band in Europe at the moment and with this tour in U.S with Slayer...). So it's great to have In Flames with them.

And I have never heard of Mastodon before, I doubt they are really known in Europe. Were they just in one gig or did they play in the whole U.S tour? I heard from radio that Mastodon's band member is a brother of some guy in Lamb Of God, so maybe that was partly the reason why they got along.

They have become pretty big actually, and I think they played the whole tour. Slayer is huge, just recall they are thrash from the 80s, and those bands still have the biggest amount of fans as far as metal goes. So many people there were like 40 years old and they came just for Slayer.

Oh damn it was fun.
