Alright, I have a very weird situation here. At first, I think BC is fucked up as usual. Oddly though I ran several .lst and .cfg files such as GC and DC. They all work.

So I think it's the pirates.lst and pirates.cfg files.

At the beginning of the BC screen it says to choose a mod. Then it'll give you three choices. New Level, Open Level, Exit. I don't make it that far. I make it to "Choose a mod."

If I choose pirates. Crash.

I spent an hour examining the codes and found something...

I can now choose a mod. I then have those options. They WORK... but partially.

For some reason, certain maps won't work. Here are some of them...

Frylar
Timberment
Immenent Explosion
Cut Throat Creek
Uncharted Waters


Here are some that DO work 100%:
Dead Calm
Atlantis
Azure Seas
Dire Straits
Domes of Doom

Anyone have any suggestions or similarities between them all? Maybe I can like... pinpoint the problem I'm also going to post my .lst and .cfg files for review. Maybe someone can see something I can't. It may not even be those however. Hence why I'm at a lost.

And GG Milk for leaving meh hanging on xfire.

But anyways, maybe that Waterdoor01 thing is important somehow... Maybe it's included on the other maps there. But what would be wrong with it if it's supposed to be there? o.0

The WaterDoor01 fucked it up because the entries should be in the format ObjectName=StandardMesh(ModelName), that one was lacking StandardMesh() and just had waterDoor01=waterDoor01.

Messy Recipe:  deleted all the last couple years worth of bots & managed to preserve the two real people that have posted since then xD

so many DELETED spam posts now tho that I think I'll need to automate cleaning those moreso than i already have
