A lot has been comin out about Vista lately, and its been pretty interresting to track. Microsoft has thrown out some system requirements which are as follows:

Vista-capable
Processor-
Modern chip (at least 800MHz)
System memory
512MB
GPU
DirectX 9 capable (WDDM support recommended)
Graphics memory
(none specified)
HDD
(none specified)
HDD free space
(none specified)
Optical drive
(none specified) DVD-ROM drive

Premium Ready
Processor-
1GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64)
System memory
1GB
GPU
Runs Windows Aero (no other info. available)
Graphics memory
128MB
HDD
40GB
HDD free space
15GB
Optical drive
DVD-ROM drive

They also have a program that will tell you if your comp can run it/what features your computer will be able to use. Also interresting to note is its ability to interface with a fricken ton of peripherals (PDAs, Xbox 360s, etc.). I'm actually kinda looking forward to it. Granted, I will wait a few months after it comes out cuz its bound to have bugs, etc. But, it looks as if Microsoft actually might be putting out something pretty cool.
