Anyone happen to currently play Tribes 2? (or used to and still own a copy)
A friend of mine has been working on a quite awesome mod for it (that a few people including myself have made small contributions to).
If anyone plays (or played) T2 I will try and post some of the videos/screenshots we've taken while playing.
It has pirates (although not in the traditional sense)!

Demo?
I'm talkin' about Tribes 2, not Tribes: Vengeance (which sucked in comparison).

2 of the new vehicles next to the fighter that is in the normal game (which has a new skin).

Here are the few videos that I can find (the rest I know of were hosted on rapidshare and got deleted for not being downloaded for a certain number of days).
Warning: Teamspeak was on during all of the movies so theres lots of chatter.

I am pretty sure it was Tribes 2, not Vengeance or Whatever. Maybe it was original. I checked cover art and I do think it was 2 still but I could SO easilty be mistaken. I only played some hilly map.

The BEST part is that you can get full .exe version of Tribes 2 free at File Planet. Shocked

Must investigate... Great post.

To play T2 you need a CD Key to make an account.
Once you already have an account you're fine, but you need that CD Key first.

yea fileplanet is ghey like that... I've searched for a while now and haven't found any other places to download it off of, except for this one... it's slow though, so I haven't downloaded it yet, though I will because I think I got a key for T2 off fileplanet, just never downloaded it Razz

Even if you get the game, you still need a CD Key to make an account with.
Getting the game itself is pointless without an UNUSED CD-Key.
The key isn't used to install the game, it's used to make the account you play with.
