Brutus, you may want to take a look at Dire Straits while you're at it. It seems a bit unstable. Beowulf was having trouble with crashing to desktop multiple times this evening on that map, and some other people in the server were complaining of the same thing. I'm not exactly sure what was going on with that, but the crashes seemed to only be happening on that map.

I did indeed looking at Dire Straits. I hadn't heard of crashing to desktop though. Regardless, I think its the brigs. I forgot a piece o the Brig's code. Rolling Eyes I HOPE it is already repaired and ready for re-release.

If he is crashing to desktop perhaps you can send him a copy of your map. He might just have something broke in his dire_straits.rfa file.

The same crashing to desktop thing happened to me also just yesterday on Dire Straits, but thankfully it only happened once. Hopefully that extra bit of code solves the problem. Smile

Do you have any idea yet when this "patch" will be released?

I've crashed while playing Dire before, too, and IIRC we tried to have some scrim or match on that map but people CTD'd whenever the map was restarted. I'd guess it is the Brig network issue; I wish I could remember if there's crashing on Shark Haven...

I included the fixed code in the Isle_of_Woe map. I still had a chop issue but nobody else did. Not very conclusive...

I forgot about that !restart bug. That might be a good "go/no-go" test.

Sounds like a bad file. Get a new Tortuga.rfa file.
