WTF halflife2 problem

uhh... every time I press "Launch Game" from steam, my computer restarts...... and it says "the system has recovered from a serious problem" or some junk like that... wtf?

The thing about the serious error seems to always happen to me whenever the computer "improperly" shuts down or restarts....as for why it can't run the game - what Brutus said.

well I installed it on the other computer and it works like a dream, so HA

..... now I just have to wait for Steam to update CSS... WHY ISN'T IT UPDATING?!?!?!?!??!

omg 1!!1!!!!

I have that same problem, and still do. Gay Pre-Built Gateways. Crying or Very sad

I guess if you shut down all backround tasks at start-up it'll happen less frequently.
