well as some of you know I ripped apart my whole computer yesterday to clean every part of it. well.....

As of yesterday A few things didn't power up, however today I noticed 3 unplugged plugs, 1 is a male plug and two are female. 1 of the two females is black and says fan only, and the other female is white and is in a long chain of white to white conn's and eventually another fan only female plug.

I figured I should judt connect it to the black fan only plug, that way it doesn' have to share as munch. When doing this I got several things to run; my blue light and my cpu fan.

However no matter which 1 I plug it into my case fan and the fan monitor that I have, do not power up, and they are on the same chain that gets plugged in.

all of my fans plug into the fan monitor except the cpu which plugs into the fan monitor and the direct feed. (my case fan runs off of it also)

this is what I'm using. http://www.i-tech.com.au/products/274_COOLER_MASTER_AEROGATE_2_BLACK.asp

any suggestions on what to do? Do I just have a bad psu?

IMHO, that was a waste of cash Wink sell that to some other sucker and plug your fans up to regular molex plugs and don't worry about that fancy waste of a slot Rolling Eyes

Yeah it looks cool, but it really serves no purpose other than to suck up power from your PSU and has pretty lights

Your PSU wouldn't suddenly go bad from disconnecting things.

... did you put the male into the fan controller?

Check the backs of your cd/hard drives for plugs. You may have to buy some y power splitters if you have all crap components.
