yesterday i was playing bf2 and stuff, and suddenly i had to leave so i press alt + f4

then mine screen got to 800X600 but the properties still said that it was on 1152X864.

so i putted it one lower and one higher and the size was oke again, but now, all mine text isnt that "clear", ive used mine auto config but it dindt changed alot
the text is still readeble, but its not that clear as it used to be i have an acer AL1714

any tips for this poor pirate?

did you drop the graphic quality, the number of colors you are using?

Describe what you mean by unclear. LCD monitors tend to have a hard time with text sometimes, so if it is what I think it is, I will get ya the procedure on how to fix it.

Hmm, this pobably isn't it but is a problem that kicked my butt once before and had similar symptoms. Go to:
'Display Properties' >> 'Effects' and make sure >> 'Smooth Edges of Screen Font' box is NOT checked.

If that doesn't work you can try uninstalling and reinstalling your video drivers. It sounds like your PC got confused and kept your in-game settings even after you got out of game...

Sometimes if I CTD its out of whack. Re-boot or reset and it should be fine.
