The only real reason I'd see any reason to play WoW would be b/c it would be fun with other friends in massive groups.

but the levels man.... you just have to keep leveling.... and leveling.... the only thing i hate about rpgs is the level grinding part... i want all the stuf, i paid for it dammit

also, doing what it talkes to make the game longer, usually adds up to a lot of filler (ie, watching my friends fly between realms 10 mins at a time, while i play 4-5 rounds of cs....) because they make more money that way

you didn't 'pay' for a level 60... you payed for the service of playing the game.

In any case i want my soul back so i quit wow, got rid of my account and broke all my CDs. No more wow for me. Although everyone that uses those 'wow: fight the addiction' banners... you should know that i hate you from the very bottom of my heart.

I'm with you Choc and Boom, single player rpgs ftw.

I am a single player rpg junkie, got my Baldur's Gate 1&2, IceWind Dale 1&2, Fallout 1&2, Neverwinter Nights, Morrowind, and various others.

These are all on computer though, console rpgs are not complex enough in charcter customization for me(a few maybe not many at all), I need complete control and lots of classes and races.

Not much better than a winter day curled up with some hot chocolate fighting orcs in Firkaag's lair.

And I never said I liked the leveling =P I couldn't care if I was level -300000, as long as I had a group of friends to all act like idiots and to charge something there's no way we can defeat. Now THAT would be fun. Laughing

It's kinda the same principle in BFP. I don't play BFP only b/c I like it... but I love that TS when it makes it WAYYYY more fun.

They should have put in goblins as playable (screw stupid neutrality stories or whatever they're supposed to be), blood elves are just an excuse for people that like fruity-looking things to play Horde now after they have had their fill of night elves that ride on big white tigers like some fruity looking male couple who recently got mauled by theirs.

Goblins should ride on draft horses (who cares if they're too big?), wear flannel, and have bandoliers filled with tnt. They would blow stuff up and smoke cigarettes, or better yet cigarillos (the much more badass (and not a feminine noun in French) cigarette-sized cigars that people like Clint Eastwood's charecter in The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly smoke). They wouldn't get cancer because they die before 30, and should be able to choose from facial tatoos, varying levels (but all massive) of chesthair growth, and either 1 or 2 eyepatches. No goblin would have the full number of digits on his fingers or feet. In fact you loose them with successive levels.
