Windows Media Player

Well recently I have not been able to view any streaming media from media player. It says it's ready w/o doing any buffering, than when I click play it reads play for 1/2 a second then says ready again. This only started happening like a month ago. I don't have a firewall up.

Is it the latest version?
After you check that, you may want to just do a quick re-install of the whole thing, just make sure you back up your playlists and shit because I'm not sure how those will come out after you re-install it.

yea, no streaming video. i think i'll just reinstall if I get the time.

really though, check your plug-ins and stuff, one of mine needed updated recently and it fixed my problems

I can't look at streaming videos through winamp........
wmp is very popular for the site that I regularly attend to watch streaming video

OMFG TREND MICRO I FUCKIN HATE YOU YOU BASTARDS, Installed a firewall on my comp w/o telling me and hiding it in my anti-virus, EVIL!

Now I can listen to streaming music watch streaming vids, but still can't send e-mails -_-

Also after you get rid of that virus er firewall make sure you install all the most recent codecs for Media Player
