40 megs of RAM, nizzle please, you fo sho be about ta drizzle from the mizzle ova this bizzle, fo shizzle. Think I may dig out my old Intense 3D Voodoo card and slap in this bad boy.

my dad fixes/builds those lasers (im pretty sure theyre about the same thing) but yeah, they have a comp to program one of em thats pre EGA, thats right, green screen bitches.... i dunno if they really use it, but ive seen it running, so it must do something, lol

btw, i bet u could get descent to run on that thing like a mofo, i made it run on a 486 sx 25 & 12 megs of ram & 1 meg of video memory

and omg, when my dad brought home a used 486 dx2 66 chip, i was the happiest kid in the world

anyway, what kind of parts are u runnin off that laser? (the ones ive seen are set up to do stents) ( http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/002303.htm )

I almost took a job tuning and tweeking lasers for Silicon Valley Group in CT. They build the lasers/machines Intel uses to make their chips. That was at the height of the tech boom. Glad I went somewhere else... Lasers FTW though!!! And ol pc's too. Wink

We do a lot of work for Ironhorse motorcycles here in the DF Dub, but I cut all kinds of crap for other customers. I guess I've been doing a good job, because now they are going to buy a water-jet as well.

oh, It's a Trumpf TLF 2600, K9

Ah cool. I was thinking a different kind of laser when you mentioned uploading it to an old PC. I used to use lasers to map out accident and crime scenes. Had it hooked into an old PC to store it all before I could download to a regular desktop.

Fire, you ever need any spare parts for that PC - look no furtha than "Unkle Massive's Pile O' Crappy Old Hardware" You can have anything that you'll put to use!

I did just fished out 3 complete working PII 550s that are now running Linux (Debian) for various functions - I passed over some P1s, Pentium Pros, and even a few 486s tho Laughing

I even have a monochrome ISA card - bout 12" long! Sadly, no mono-monitor tho Crying or Very sad
