The Pirates 1.0 installer is uploading to FilePlanet now.

I am awed by the process almost as much as by the content of our new game. This has required more effort than I care to explain. Our team has kicked major ass. Considering none of us have built a mod before it is amazing that we generated so much quality content in just a few months. How big you ask? 1GB even... This will entertain you - for a long time.

Thank you to all of you that contributed - even if just being understanding when i broke the server, and over and over... Rolling Eyes

Now on to the expansion map pack. Cuz 40 pirates maps just CAN'T be enough right? Wink

it wont be up on FP just yet

heres the rundown of whats gonna happen:

fileplanet is getting a 3 days exclusive for paying members & in exchange, theyre gonna help up promote things a bit... the 3 day thing starts on the 17th, so the mod will be availible for everyone on the 20th

we did our very best to get it out before thanksgiving & while i had hoped it would have been out a bit sooner, im glad we took the time to fix the things we needed to. now im not gonna be stupid & say that its perfect, but i think we have a really good product & should breathe a lil life back into the community

I think we should distribute the installer internally for testing and have a patch or even patched version ready for FilePlanet come the release date.

Does post-delivery pre-distribution testing make sense?
