Hey fellers.
I must say.. nice work keeping BFPirates interesting and alive.

I am in a BF2 clan, and I have convinced the other |SAF| guys to take a break from BF2 ( and the constant need to increase stats )from time to time and play some of the older games that used to consume all our free time. However, instead of just playing DC Final, which is where most of us met, I suggested playing some of the better Mods out for BF 1942. It is a little embarassing to say but NONE of our clan has played BF Pirates.
Where else to turn but to you guys.
My only concern is, once I get them to dowload the main BF Pirates Mod, how many extra maps do you ussually rotate into your server.
AM I safe just having them dowload just the CTMap pack?
I don't want to get this all set up and then not have the right maps to be able to play.
Also is the Pirate server running pirates 24/7 or do you swich to host other games?

Anyway, long story short, I think my guys will have a F-ing hoot of a time playing pirates.

actually, on the CT public server, we run the official Pirates maps, and occasionally we play the CTF tourney maps that can be found at http://ctmaps.oldfartgamers.com/client_maps/CTFTournamentMapPack.zip

also, we usually always keep it on Pirates, though sometimes you'll find it switched to some dead mods, such as Siege, Wasteland2042, and Sengoku, though this is normally only on the weekends, late at night (around 11:30 GMT -5), and it would surprise me if it changed off Pirates more than once every month

Messy Recipe:  deleted all the last couple years worth of bots & managed to preserve the two real people that have posted since then xD

so many DELETED spam posts now tho that I think I'll need to automate cleaning those moreso than i already have
