beatles are maybe the most overrated band in history, black people were doing the same thing for years and they didnt get a cent of fame. and technially musically speaking they werent that good, just a mediocre pop band, they were not the first of their kind, just a bunch of cute little guys with guitars, theyt have a couple of good songs but most of it is just fluff

But they were alot more than that. They set most of todays standards in recording styles. They broke soo many rules in the way things were supposed to be recorded, and because of that, we have most of the music we do today. And ZOMFG they were perhaps one of the most experemental bands of all time. I have a couple of books that are basically biography's of them in the studio. Beatles were basically the root of pop music today.

I don't understand how anyone can dislike The Beatles. I never get sick of their stuff. I have tickets for McCartney in October. John Lennon was cool as hell, too. Just how much do I idolize John Lennon? Well......you can be the judge.
