I have no idea what i want to do with my life, but then again im only 14.

i love history so much

but i think i may have a greater love, RELIGION

DONT WORRY IM NOT RELIGIOUS but eveyrhting about religion and how people devote their lives and everythign after that to one belief facinates me, i think i just want to learn as much as i can and in some way possible change peoples lives, i want to break peoples mindset of what is beautiful in life, and do somethign profound, how or in which way ill change peoples lives i have no idea.

i had this amazing idea while i was sitting at my friends baptist curch one morning. i was thinking about the amazing things that every religion has to offer and the good 80 years i have on this earth i think that would be enougn to cover alot of the major religions, so why not like spend 5 years in a monestary and learn as much as i can, then travel to India and Learn as much as i can there, and just try to understand everything about each religion, and then maybe right a book and open peoples eyes to the fact that most religions preach very similar things but just in a different context and that hating will get us no where, maybe write a book or somethign

i just want to do somethign profound before i die and am forgotten forever

ok i and i know this will prolly trip a bunch of you out everything from an librarian to an iron worker i am 33 and never had a clue on what i wanted minus the general what kids what to be but aviation has always been present but i dont want to include my love of planes to work as i might end up hating work and end up killing my true love so i stay away from getting any aviation type job just for that reason but man i like bruti's post on page 1 for sure

Well, here's something to think about. TIME had an article in the past couple of months about maturity and stuff like that. You know what the average age of a kid moving out of Mom and Dad's house is today? 27. All of those English and computer science degrees don't mean jack right now because of the poor supply of jobs. Don't even think about going into something like chemical engineering.

Save up your money until you really know what you're going to be doing with your life. If you don't know, save up money and just survive until you do. I was one of those gifted prodigy types too, skipped ahead in classes and all that jazz. The more intelligent or talented you are, the more your path seems to be carved out of stone. I've been able to draw like a photograph since i was 13, but I don't enjoy art and it's not an easy or profitable line of work. The message I'm getting across is that you'll only scare the living hell out of yourself if you feel you MUST do something. Human beings think the most clearly when they're calm. Take some deep breaths and go with your gut, buddy. You'll make it.

Well if my degree doesn't find me a job(heres hoping it will, its forensic science by the way), I will just find a job as asssistant manager of a grocery store or something until I do find the job I want. There is a glut of certain kinds of degree holders looking for jobs, so I just hope there isn't a glut of mine.

I have 3 more years of school to think about how I'll get me some work, right now im looking for a job so I can pay rent, and buy food and gas. Bookstores, grocery stores, and Walmart here I come.
