(Already spread this on mumble, but it's worthy of being on the forums)

I saw this earlier. It's not that surprising, all things considered.

Most people I meet have the grammar of a seven year old (absolutely no exaggeration), so why wouldn't they have the math skills to match?

It doesn't even requite math though. Just think a minuscule amount about what miles per hour means... She doesn't though, he even tried to get her to and she is just like yeah, MPH, measurement of speed. Puts no more thought into it than that. Am I the only one legitimately surprised that there are people this stupid?

Now I wonder how many people watched this video and were agreeing with what the girl was saying the whole time.... that's a scary thing to think about

Perhaps not, but I teach math at a public university. I don't get anyone this out at sea, but I don't teach the remedial classes either.

I go to highschool. Heard something almost exactly like this except the math was maybe just a tad harder.

Not unbelievable, but most likely staged.

This is exactly unsurprising, because this is how people are taught to think.... that math is some unrelated and obtuse way of looking at things... and this is how bad it is. There are a lot of people who are this dumb.
