That's not to say that he never did. He and I perfected the Pyro uber at launch. Many people still don't realize how much better that is than a Heavy is some circumstances.

The montigolfer was the name of the balloon in BFP. It was largely overpowered when it first released in the map, Domes of Doom.

As a driver you could drop bombs and the armor was relatively high. You could one man the vessel and switch to any of the three cannons and fire the relatively fast cannonballs.

When the balloon was added to other maps, it's OP became apparent and it had to be nerfed. The cannons had a slower fire rate and you could no longer switch vehicle positions.

Ballon busters, a multi cannon used for anti air, was increased in strength.

Before .3 was released, a good chunk of us were beta testers. A bug was found with the galleon where if you used your cutlass and attacked the ammo, it would kill the ship instantly. This is why .31 exists.

I really think they overdid it with the nerfing.

On version .31 of BFP there was a map called "King of the Caribbean". Both sides fought for control of an island but started out on giant galleons that acted as their only spawnpoints at first. My favorite tactic was to capture the enemy ship at the very beginning and sail it off the edge of the map. This would leave the other team with no spawnpoint, but the game wouldn't end since the ship still technically existed.

This was fixed (by Stealth?) in version 1.0 by adding giant walls at the edge of the map. Spoilsports.

At one point parrots were going to be added to the game. However, during playtesting the game would experience crashes and the likely culprit were the parrots. At least, that is what I vaguely remember.
