The CT forums used to have a pirate babe section, which was largely any type of females. Not strictly related to pirates. One of the most active member was CT's Jack Bauer.

There was a CT spam topic that extended well into the hundreds. Anything and everything went.

The CT site wasnt always ctpirates.net. It has also been hosted on robworks.com, thectpirates.com, among others. Most forum admins are people who have once hosted the site at one point or another but not always.

The smilies you see on the CT site were created by Whooman. Upon it's release, he released a single image with half of them completed and empty silhouettes of the remaining.

The CT colors weren't always teal and gold. Before this site, they were gray.(and before that was something else if the really old members remember). The site went under redesign in flash by Anonymousity but proved to be too hard to keep updated. Later, GotMilk redesigned the site into what you see today.

When xFire was dominant, a CT xfire skin was released that mimics the current colors of this site. Designed by Stealth and coded by Koppa (a non CT).

There is a CT novel written by Anonymousity although I don't remember if it was completed and can't for the life of me remember the title of it.

The Fuck You Pact is the a pact made by a handful of CTs to create what would have been known as the CTX (a BFP addon mod).

It would be created because a large amount of activity was occurring and 3D models were leaking from the Black Buccaneer's site. They were creating a BBXpack and pushing for it to be implemented into BFP.

The CTs said Fuck You, we'll play our own mod and we banded together to make it. Later, the BB's activity declined and passed their assets to us when the leader of the BB's, Detrux (who also at the time obtained rights to the mod somehow) allowed us to make our mod into BFP 1.0.

Very little of it was used due to outlandish art styles and were mostly broken.

The funniest model was the two poles that had a rope across it. Then on that rope was another rope appearing to be "drying" for no reason.

So we have two forums, and y'all can moderate both of them. Sodomy Station is public, CTX is private for our pansexual needs. Only CT members can see the general thing, because I don't want non-CT in on this shindig ATM. Soooooo yeah. I trust your judgement not to fuck anything up.

When BFP died, we attempted to get into BFP2. But Detrux largely controlled the production and the ideas implemented destroyed our desire to play. But more importantly, sword combat was broken and could never be fixed.

So a good chunk of us played BF2 instead and then entered a hibernation as most of us went to college.

Actually, Milk's design(s) was/were an intermediate point between today's and the first site, but he didn't do anything for the current one. Nony did all the graphical work for the current design in 2009 (and I did the coding of course, same with Milk's).

Speaking of which -- Sean, you should get me the template for those lil Xfire and AIM buttons and such. Or at least do one for Steam.

Good shit stealth - I love it. I have a bunch to share, can't think of much right now but I'll come back here as it comes.

Anyone remember the first ever match in BFP? (and by virtue our first match.) The hype was huge, since BB was the 'powerhouse' as they had way more members then we did. LKG and another were the leaders then... I don't remember the other guy's name. Silver something. We played two rounds on Scurvy Cove and Tides of Blood back when it was just two galleons and islands with no textures. I think it was planned that we would play a third if it ended in a tie but who knows, literally all of us were kids back then.

We won Scurvy by only 10 tickets and blew them out on Tides of Blood to secure the win Very Happy

Hirm were you in that? I don't remember when you joined BB. We have some screens from that game somewhere, it was truly unforgettable.

Back when we used Teamspeak/Ventrillo, we had a DJ channel. At the time the DJ would be harassed to play Panic at the Disco so much, we had to make a non official courtesy rule never to play it again.

At one point, every CT was an admin at minimum. Mainly to change the map for when no one was on the server. Unfortunately, it was common for maps to be changed mid game. With so many CTs, it was too hard to manage and eventually removed.
