Ha, I was playing this earlier and it IS freakin' sweet. Very Happy

Maps are beautiful and the melee combat is a crap load of fun.

Ugh the combat is mindless crap. Its like in Jedi knight light saber duels you just mash the mouse hoping to get a kill or you can kite with ranged. And there is so many noobs running around suiciding with kegs its beyond stupid .

I do hate everything, but can you honestly say the melee combat has any depth to it at all. Its very boring just mashing left click with the occasional guard. Hopefully this will be fixed in later versions but right now its just shallow.

The melee combat is outstanding, imo. You have to time blocks and attacks, it's much more in depth than BFP. The ranged combat is a bit broken, but if they make the viking's axe throwable or if they had a way to block all ranged attacks, it would be nearly perfectly balanced. In the future, I would like to maybe see classes, or even more weapons. But the 3 factions are very interestingly balanced, much like the zerg, protoss and terran.

Maps are beautiful, and highly creative. Close combat is fun, but repetitive. you have to really use the advantages of the class. With pirates you gotta keep moving around hitting them on the side/behind, with knight you have to focus on defense. I really like it, the concept is fun and witty, still trying to figure out how to trigger berserker mode. I know it has to deal with the bar at the top, but don't know what buttons.

The maps are truely genious though and absolutely beautiful. I played in a egyptian booby trapped temple for an hour, that was just plain fun.

I recommend getting it.
