Post subject: A very important date in Cut Throat history
Top Reply with quote

Today is a very important day in Cut Throat history, and world history in general. If you haven't prepared your calendars for the future, you should start now. You should mark off November 6th with as much obnoxious shit to make sure you never forget it.

November 6th is a day that shall forever live in infamy as long as the human race exists. This day marks the creation of something that has changed my life and all of ours as well, whether we know it or not, and will likely perpetuate and continue to affect us for as long as we are around. It is a day where we rejoice the birth of another very important human being.

Aa birthday is, at it's roots, nothing more than a reminder that your momma and your poppa got it on and you are what happened. In fact, if it wasn't for your really horny parents, you wouldn't be reading this. Looking at it that way, when you stop and realize all the life that's prevented by wearing condoms and such, you go, "shit." Sometimes you might look at a particular individual and say that their better half might have just rolled down the side of their inabriated mother's leg.

Rarely do you think about a person and say to yourself, "Shit, I'm glad they didn't get, uhm, "blown" away." It's not as though it isn't true for a lot of people, it is just that we don't like to compliment people as much as we do trash them - but there are notable exceptions. Thus, when you thankful that someone didn't end up in a condom, you must simultaneously realize that they are the fucking shit. It also has occured to me quite jovially that this was not the first, but rather the second unsafe sex decision that turned out really well for the same family. Heck, with their track record, they should be having kids every night - CT would be a lot cooler.

Someday, I promise, someday, I'm going to bake up a nice cake and send it out west for a particular family started by a couple who inadverdantly changed all of our lives just by having a few sexy times. This couple is wholly responsible for the creation of two of CT's oldest, most notorious, and most fundamental members, and inadverdantly, partially responsible for the creation and upholding of the greatest group of gamers ever. I'll send them a cake and let them know that someday.

Everyone knows that 1/2 helped to found the Cut Throats. We all know about him and his legacy. He doesn't come around much, but we know what he's done for us and we thank him eternally. Yet in the very large shadow he casts lies another man, a man who stands out among his darkness. He's 2/2, and without him, our lives would probably taste like shit.

This guy has been in CT since almost the very beginning. He is, by definition, the very essence of the Cut Throats. He himself is the purest embodiment of the values we as a community hold to be true. This man has never let his guiding light wane, always keeping the Cut Throats on the right path by making sure we emphasize the right things like friendship instead of leadership. He makes sure we respect people based upon their thoughts, actions, intentions - their character - instead of their rank or monetary status. He keeps us ... us.

There will only be one Michael Jordan. There will be only one Babe Ruth. There will be only one Wayne Gretzky. There will be only one Takeshi "Hot Dog Eating Champ" Kobeyashi. And there will be only one Special Jimmy

Thank you very much Travis "Special Jimmy" Lilach Very Happy

Sincerely,
Mike "Wang Chung" Stylianos and any Cut Throat who you've ever done anything nice for.

Happy birthday fucker!

I got a really sweet mp3 player today and I got a really cool jacket, even a pulp fiction t-shirt and some awesome ice cream cake.

but...

What Mike said was the best present I could have gotten today. I read what you wrote and I felt like crying. No Lies. The pride I get from visiting these forums everyday is amazing. I joined CT when I didn't really have any friends outside of my family. Things changed and I've got a few of em now.

but....

They just never add up. You guys are my best friends. No Lies. I tell you guys shit I can hardly tell myself. Mike, you're fuckin awesome. I talk to you like everyday. You're so original it makes me want to be more unique and creative. You're the rockstar of CT. CT has brought me so much, and it's things like this that remind that no matter what happens, we'll be together a long time. Whether it's individually or still a group, we can't change shit like this.

I love you guys. No lies.

Messy Recipe:  deleted all the last couple years worth of bots & managed to preserve the two real people that have posted since then xD

so many DELETED spam posts now tho that I think I'll need to automate cleaning those moreso than i already have

Messy Recipe:  sry about the bots :( been busy & havent gotten round to doing the usual cleanup

need to prolly stick this behind cloudflare or something

Drunken Monkey:  doing well, been building a hobby ranch of my own, got married, no kids, only dogs, sheep and a horse

Comradekil:  so anyway, i wonder how everyone's lives all progressed.. who's in jail? who's grandparents now.. ha life
Drunken Monkey:  and yes....i do miss 1942 aswell, i honestly think it is what drove me to get a M1 garand in real live, and is still my most used rifle
Drunken Monkey:  bots are getting silly
Comradekil:  Sup dudes
Messy Recipe:  the BAR-1918 always felt so good in that game
Messy Recipe:  I miss vanilla 1942 as much as Pirates... need to see if the Origin version (or even original) still has anyone playing sometime
Stealth:  Hello all! Head to the lounge and post a memory!
Stealth:  I saw a BF1942 fraps video of a guy jumping out of a plane and RPG'd another plane. I immediately came here for nostalgia. Miss you all.
Messy Recipe:  I've not tried Sea of Thieves... kinda was bummed to learn its servers don't allow many simultaneous players. gimme 32v32 galleon fights
Messy Recipe:  oh gosh I really need to automate the spambot removal instead of making myself do it by hand don't I -.-
Drunken Monkey:  merry Christmas you lot
[BB]Piccolo:  Anybody playing Sea of Thieves?
[BB]Piccolo:  I'm amazed I actually still knew my login. We Black Buccaneers certainly had a special relationship with you Cut Throats. Nothing like a fierce rivalry to make the battlefield exciting, eh? :)
