im very happy too that i can get some of my favorite games on stream and not go hunting for it at stores

That company has just plain sold out in so many ways. Video games were once a cult thing and the shops you went to for games and equipment were geeky little holes in the wall, sort of like comic book stores. Those were the days of the Konami Code and JUSTIN BAILEY.

That was a long time ago and now I feel like a consumer whore going into a Gamestop to buy anything. I don't doubt that I could find a Master Chief steering wheel cover or a Gears of War shot glass in that place. It's like a Hot Topic or a fucking theme park gift shop.

I miss you, Funcoland. You gave me my copy of Contra on the NES with a smile and no hassle and, for that, I'll always love you.

so true haha its just like hastings. I brought in the new assassins creed days after it came out and gamestop offered my $5 cash or $8 store credit. needless to say I kept my new assassins creed.
